Why the Reluctance to have Children as Desired?

  A report by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has shown that millions of people around the world, including Nepal , are reluctant to have children as they wish due to economic and social constraints. A public report today, based on academic research and studies conducted in 14 countries, found that one in five people say they are not able to have as many children as they would like. The report attributes this to rising costs, declining family support and concerns about the future. Similarly, rising living costs, job insecurity, limited access to reproductive health services and global crises such as war and climate change are additional impacts.
